Building momentum
Envisional was formed in Cambridge, UK, in 1999 by two brilliant young British scientists, Chris Swannack and Ben Coppin, who were already working at the leading edge of advanced artificial intelligence applications.
The company now has 30 staff and a worldwide customer list of corporate leaders. Its unique A3I Internet monitoring technology is patented and proven in action and Envisional has developed close business partnerships with several major US technology firms.
As the urgent problems of online fraud, piracy, counterfeiting and brand abuse start to impinge on many more companies, Envisional has emerged as the established European leader in this fast-growing market.
Its unique technology and experienced analysts give it a significant edge over the competition, and its blue chip customer list underlines its value to today's most dynamic corporations.
Within the context of Group NBT, Envisional has the incentive and resources to offer even better service and further technological enhancements. Our involvement with bodies such as the Anti-Counterfeiting Group and the Anti-Phishing Working Group reflects our status within the industry, while recommendations from companies we work with ensure that our reputation continues to grow.
A voice of authority
Envisional co-founder and Chief Product Officer Ben Coppin’s 2004 book, Artificial Intelligence Illuminated, has quickly become one of the standard reference works on the subject. It has attracted enthusiastic reviews and sold thousands of copies to individuals, universities and research labs around the world.
The book has also been pirated via Rapidshare and various other file hosting sites, providing a highly unwelcome endorsement of the continuing demand for Ben's insight and expertise.
