Nothing else comes near
ImageFlare is unique. The world’s leading brand owners have told us there’s nothing like it on the market. Only Envisional can offer an intelligent visual search system that hunts down fakers and fraudsters who’ve latched onto your logo.
Looking for this kind of brand abuse using conventional systems is a hopeless task. Today’s criminals and counterfeiters are too smart to label ripped-off logos with file names and alt tags which a text search tool could find.
ImageFlare enables brand owners to find and monitor websites that use their logos or other images (such as stock images, manufacturers product images, etc.) to help detect inappropriate or unauthorised attempts to exploit logo and branding images.
How it works
ImageFlare’s image matching software is unique in the market for its speed and effectiveness, and offers accurate identification of logos and images even if those logos have been modified.

The system matches images found on the Internet against the logo it has been trained to search for. The training logo is broken down into segments and clusters, each containing an element or a group of related elements from the original logo – in effect the logo is ‘fingerprinted’.

Thereafter, when a candidate logo is identified it too is broken down in the same way; the individual segments and clusters and their relative positions are compared with those from the training logo. An exact match gives a maximum score, but a partial match (which might occur if a logo has been defaced) will also get a score and will be matched and returned for review.
In this way, ImageFlare works even where logos have been altered or distorted, where wording has been changed, or where only part of a logo is visible:
It works even when a logo forms part of a much larger image (for example, if the logo is on a T-shirt worn by one person in a group photograph).
Size does not matter. A logo will still match even if it is much larger than the logo used to “train” the system.
